International Garden Hotel Narita

The hotel is well-suited for a night before departure or for late arrivals at the airport. The rooms were huge compared to our other hotels in Japan, though perhaps a bit dated. Cleanliness was lacking. One must know that there are no restaurants or shops in the vicinity, but there is a 7-Eleven in the hotel, and the restaurant offers a good dinner buffet including soft drinks (mostly Western cuisine, hardly any Japanese dishes) and a breakfast buffet (somewhat meager). The shuttle takes 30 minutes to Terminal 1!

Short distance from NRT. Shuttle to / from nearby shopping malls, and Narita. Fitness room could do with some improvements. Aging equipment and facility. On site 7-11 is good. Beds are showing their age, and lower than normal height.

There are no high-rise buildings in the surrounding area, it is surrounded by green hills, and if you look into the distance, depending on the direction of your room, you can see the Peace Monument of Naritasan Shinshoji. Listening to it, I feel like I can hear the wind buzzing, birds singing, and even the murmur of the nearby Nekina River, which is the exact opposite of the urban throngs. On the other hand, if you look at it the other way, it may be considered inaccessible, but it is the best place to fully enjoy Narita City, with AEON Mall, Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, and Narita Station just a 30-minute walk away. Furthermore, there are one to two shuttle buses per hour from 5:00 to 23:00 on two routes: (1) Hotel ↔ JR Narita Station ↔ AEON Mall and (2) Hotel ↔ Narita Airport Terminal 1 → Narita Airport Terminal 2, which means that there is no problem with access at all. Japanese make up a small percentage of guests, and foreign languages such as English and Chinese can be heard in the lobby. It's also a residence for multiple airline crews, and the front desk staff come from a variety of nationalities, creating a unique atmosphere that mixes Japanese and foreign lands. Spacious and clean rooms, free and high-speed internet, well-thought-out facilities, itch-reaching amenities and friendly staff ensure a comfortable stay for guests. With room prices rising these days, depending on the timing, there are times when you can get surprisingly good prices, so when you encounter such luck, we recommend you don't hesitate to book.
