Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

LOVED this hotel. Free shuttle bus to and from Disneyland and DisneySea which is really helpful. Hotel is steps away from shops and station. Our room was comfortable and clean and the hotel lovely. Each afternoon there was free soft drink and a lolly bar open and there were ice cream balls that were delicious. We stayed here for four nights and would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend.

It's not cleaned properly. I've been there three times, and it doesn't seem to be a coincidence because it feels the same every time. Cotton dust on the floor, hardened hair in the corner of the bed, hair in the bathroom/sink, etc. I won't stay next time.

We stayed at the Oriental Hotel for 15 nights, we previously knew the hotels rooms were not that large in size and even though at times it was a bit of a squeeze with our gear, it was not really a bother as we were out during the days and only using the room at night.It would be better if they changed out the two single beds for a double/queen bed so the room would have heaps more space.The shower and separate toilet are a bonus, there is no safe so you can’t lock away any valuables and no irons, they have to be hired.The beds are very comfortable and have good buckwheat pillows.The tv channels are in Japanese and are very limited for foreigners. The hotel offers free drinks in the lobby including beer as well as snacks every day after 2pm.There is a tiroir room so you can get your own room supplies, towels, pyjamas ,nappies,lotions,tooth brushes etc.Breakfast I have to say is awesome with an extensive array of foods, the burgers with truffle sauce and the freshly squeezed orange juice is extremely popular and a favourite, we tried every bit of food available over our stay and enjoyed all of it. There is a currency machine in the lobby however does not offer the best rates and washing machines/dryers on floor 2 as well as luggage storage all done through your phone plus a few microwaves on floor 1 if you wish to heat any food that you may purchase.The hotel has a 24 hour Lawsons deli connected to the lobby, very handy for goods or snacks which also connects to urayasu train station and aeon mall. They also offer free bus rides to/from Disneyland/Disneysea. The hotel is situated a bit from Tokyo and many of the sights but it’s so close to the train station that you can basically get around anywhere easily enough. The staff are more than welcoming and so helpful even though a lot of them struggle a bit with english.The Oriental Hotel is a decent hotel that offers value for money and we would recommend it for others to stay.Cheers.
