Hotel Chaharu

We are very satisfied with the reasonable price and the hospitality above that. The restaurant also has a high-end feel and a good atmosphere. The food is a Japanese-Western course meal, served beautifully. I wonder if it is delicate to say this with a moderately strong taste. The waiters were very responsive and we were able to eat comfortably. The bath is structured on the second floor and there is an open-air bath on the top floor. The view is not great, but the view is good. The water was a little hot, but the outside air was cold at this time of year, so it was just right and I could enjoy the relaxing hot water. The room was also cleaned and I was able to relax. The response from the hotel was good and there was no unpleasantness like other reviews. The location and the spa town are very satisfying in front of me. If you want to taste luxury, this is the hotel you should go for.

When I checked in, the trainee was a little awkward in his service, but he was polite. However, I could feel the strict gaze of the veteran next to him, which made me feel a little uncomfortable. I had a course dinner, but all the dishes were average. I've stayed in many places before, but this was the first time I've had such average food, and the portions were so small that I didn't feel like I ate much. When I checked out on the way back, I had to return my car, so I wanted to explore the area, so I asked if I could come and pick it up at 11:00. He gave me a displeased look, so I thought it would be a hassle to show it on my face. It was the first time I'd ever felt so bad, and I don't think I'll stay here again. I was a little surprised because the reviews were all good.

My wife and I stayed here. The hotel is located very close to Dogo Onsen, just a minute or two on foot, which is perfect, and the hot springs in the hotel were also great. (You may need a numbered ticket to get to Dogo Mountain depending on the time of day.) The food was also delicious. Dinner was a course meal, all made with ingredients from Matsuyama, and the sea bream rice that came at the end was free to have as many refills as we wanted, so we ate our fill. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of dishes, and we were greeted by many staff members from early in the morning, which was also delicious. There were many young staff members overall, and we were able to spend a very comfortable time here. My wife was also very satisfied. We are also planning to do the pilgrimage, so we would like to use their services again when we do so.
