Hotel Route Inn Iyo-Saijo

Stayed here one night and the stay was quite pleasant. Free parking and the staff spoke English. The room is small, we knew that in advance, but it was sufficient for one night. There was no room to put our suitcases on the floor. The room itself was clean with fast wifi We used the onsen which is always a fun experience. Breakfast was varied and of a good quality. I would stay here again for a short stay, for longer stays I prefer some more space

Not too many choices in Saijo. This proved to be ok with an average room, a rotenburo and a good wireless. The breakfast was a bit disappointing: lots of choices but the quality was not there (greasy, hardly any salads, no fruits), but good coffee :-) Nice staff and several restaurants at a walking distance. Overall a good option with a good price/quality ratio. Bestregardsfromfar

It was easy for us to find the hotel by GPS. There was free parking. When we arrived the hotel, the reception staff was not too friendly. He did not understand English. I had to repeat the words Çheck-in several times, he did not understand. Then I showed our email confirmation to him and he began to know what happened. After we got the key, we found the room was very very small. There were only two twin beds and the size was small. I had mentioned there are 3 family members and they are adults. The hotel just let us have a small room with two beds. The size of each bed was small and just fit for one person. Luckily we were quite thin. If the hotel was fully booked, it should let us know and reject our booking. We did not sleep well on that night. We must not stay there again. I know there are some more hotels under this brand; hotel Route inn group. I will not book any hotel from this group. The service is below standard. Every year we travel to Japan, we never stay a hotel like this. Too BAD!!
