The staff were lovely so I feel a bit bad leaving this review, but I'd give this a 2-3 star overall and 2-star for value. We booked through Agoda (maybe a mistake?) and it was right around Golden week (4/30, so prices were probably inflated), but it was about $200 for a very small twin bedroom, a bit musty, with a view over Fukuoka and a very small bathroom, and breakfast. Breakfast looked better than it tasted, and overall the hotel felt more about presentation than quality. Soundproofing at least for our room was quite bad (6th floor wing), I was woken up in the middle of the night every time somebody was in the hallway, which was a few times (and I don't have trouble sleeping at the average hotel).

This is the perfect hotel for a relaxing stay in Fukuoka! Check-in is at 5pm and check-out is at 1pm, which is unusual. I sometimes like to relax at hotels when I have time, so I think this is a great system and give it two thumbs up... Also, the hot springs are a great plus. On the downside, I took a taxi to the hotel, but there was no staff there, so I had to take my luggage out of the trunk and carry it to the front desk... I think service is important for this class of hotel. *It may have just been a coincidence, so I'll try staying here again the next time I go to Fukuoka.

It was our last hotel of the trip and one of the best we've stayed in in Japan! Very elegant and modern, with very large spaces and spectacular views of the city! It is far from the center but they have a free shuttle service, so that is no longer a problem. The room is very spacious and modern. The bed is very comfortable. The spa area is spacious and very pleasant. We are still amazed by the tasting menu we enjoyed at their Japanese restaurant, it was a real spectacle! Breakfast was also incredible, very varied and with views. If we return to Fukuoka we will definitely return to this accommodation! The staff is very friendly and they make sure that all clients feel at home!
