Hotel New Plaza Kurume

I used it on the ruins tour on September 3. It must be a long-established hotel with a traditional wedding venue, but there was something very concerning about hygiene. The corner of the tub was dirty brown, the area where the sink met the counter was dirty with dark mold, and the area where the faucet met the wall was the same. Long-standing stains remain and I don't think they will come off without regular care from a cleaning Pro. Do the managers know about this? The equipment seems to be updating, but it feels bad to look dirty, so you should improve it. The tub is very small from the present age. I wonder if the entrance lobby is unusually bright compared to the room lighting. I have an impression of a hotel that is not used for personal travel.

We travel with the family with small chilren and make a stop to this hotel, even though we booked well adhead of time with 3 rooms, when arrived we only been told we had been assigned to "smoking room" even though we made special request on "non-smoking room". They said hotel is full and provide NO other choice for us, the manager is arrogant and not a bit of helpful. We have to take the room and we found one of the room is VERY BAD MAINTAIN with smoke burn on the carpet, broken lamp and dirty bed sheet, torn down chairs and extremly small bed who claim it is a "double room" that accomodate for two. We have never had such poor experience in Japan, my wife and I have traveled to this country for 21 times and this is the first we had this. We find that the management of this hotel is absolutely not helpful and not polite to the customers, it change our view to the Japanese hotel unfortunately. We paid a fair price with the whole family who stay that we expect a fond memory but instead it had been spoiled with nightmare.

This is a good business hotel and near to my favourite Yakiniku shop Taishoen which is the best yakiniku in Kurume , so if you stay here try to explore Kurume City and enjoy all the shops and park..and go to good ramen shop which are really good, tasty and number one..
