Ogaki Forum Hotel

It was a hotel by a famous architect, the restaurant was re-opened. Lunch is popular. We have all kinds of Chinese and Western food. The parking lot was also large and convenient.

Lots of orchard in this area. Fresh air and quaint township with golf course. This hotel mainly a stopover for the night. Rooms are big and bathroom adequate with all toiletries. Nice to soak in the high bathtub filled with warm water to relax my tired bones. The beds comfortable and a choice of pillow to choose. There is a fridge and a small safe. Wifi in the room and lobby and the staff are polite although can't speak English. Walking distance two 24 hrs marts at both side of the hotel and further away a supermarket that closed by 9pm. They have some festival celebrations in this town and I guessed it to be late September . Simple breakfast of bread, noodles and porridge, coffee, tea and fruits in a big place not too crowded. We only met another tour group of mainly men golfers. Like all other hotels, they serve Japanese sweet potatoes my favorite . I joined a tour group and we were on our way to shirakawago passing thru numerous long tunnels, bridges, a dam, ski resorts and mountainous roads with beautiful sceneries and well maintained highways and restroom .
