Manza Kogen Hotel

I was finally able to go to Manza, where I longed to be in Golden Week. Visit by family (couple + junior high school student). 【Onsen】The stone garden open-air bath was just wonderful! Although it is a mixed bath, the entrances and dressing rooms are separate for men and women, and the size of bath towels is large enough that the family can enjoy the hot spring together like a spa. Many of the women were wearing hot water amigi. Four different hot springs are used in the eight tubs, and I was shocked to find that each tub is completely different in color. The water is very acidic and has a strong sulfur content, so be careful not to get too much water. The skin thickened and the soles, which had been gabby, became so smooth in no time, that the soles became so poky and sweaty all the way until the next day. The water was clean, with almost no lint or other stains, probably due to the large amount of water. 【Room】 I was grateful that even in the Western-style room, it could accommodate up to 4 people in one room. It wasn't big, but it was functional and I felt comfortable enough. 【Meals】It was delicious in the buffet both morning and evening. I had another helping of ramen noodles. 【Other】The open-air bath of Prince Hotel was also included. The view was better in Prince, but the quality of the spring was clearly better here.

As a sulphur hot springs lover, I loved the variety of sources that I could enter for 24 hours (Manza Prince is also available), and the full starry sky that allowed me to see the Milky Way with my naked eye. I wasn't expecting much from the food (buffet), but I found a few menus below the level I had imagined, so I got an overall rating4.

The hotel's dilapidated facilities are poor! There is no air conditioning in the room, only heating, and the hotel equipment makes a small noise when it is heated with water! The soundproofing of the hotel is very poor and I often hear the sound of walking upstairs! During this trip, I stayed in three Prince Group hotels ~ Karuizawa Prince Hotel, Manza Prince Hotel, and Manza Kogen Hotel! Karuizawa feels very good! Manza Prince Hotel can also be said to be of high quality! Only the Manza Plateau Hotel feels very bad, and the staff's attitude in training and solving problems for guests is very poor! Not being able to solve the problem and having a very bad attitude! And the level of knowledge is also very poor! I wanted an iPhone cable, but they responded that I only have a type C cable to charge my phone! The kind that can be used instantly on Android phones! Can I charge my iPhone with this cable? Really unheard of! Although it is a remote hotel, the staff should not be so ignorant! Moreover, the attitude of the staff at the Prince Hotel is far worse than that here in Plateau! And this hotel group is suspected of discriminating against the race of tourists! The company website only shows in Japanese and there is a free shuttle bus from Tokyo to Manza! This option is not displayed on the Chinese and English web pages! And you need to call directly to book three days before departure! How can ordinary travelers get a Japanese phone number? There is absolutely discrimination and unfair treatment against foreign tourists! So if you are not Japanese, you should definitely consider whether to stay in a hotel of this group! If I have a choice, I will never help you again!
