The hotel is located just outside of the town centre, approx 12-15 min walk but totally do-able. They also run a free shuttle service from the hotel to the local train station which is right in the centre of the town. The rooms are a good size and comfortable.

Although it is a little far from Onomichi Station, there is a free shuttle bus (reservation required) so it wasn't a problem. There is a convenience store next door, and a supermarket and Onomichi ramen shop are within a 5-minute walk. There is a photo of a member of the imperial family at the front desk, so I guess they stayed here. I think this is a historic tourist hotel in the area. The room has been renovated so there were no problems. I was able to watch YouTube on the TV, so I was able to spend a relaxing night resting my tired body from sightseeing. This is a hotel I would like to return to.

The hotel is at a good location and cheaper than the bike hotel around. To us the highlight was the buffet breakfast. There were many choice and it’s the first time I saw a rice dispensing machine, where I can choose whether I will have a small, normal, or large bowl of rice. There’s free car parking available, both covered and outdoor. The rooms were modern and spacious. One of our double rooms was so spacious that it had a big L-shape sofa. It’s great value for money.
