Stayed Jan 2026. Lovely recently renovated rooms, fit out and furniture. Awesome location to lifts. Great hire service with decent gear. Room allocated storage for ski gear. AMAZING house-baked pastries in the buffet breakfast.. coming out fresh as you eat!! Easily the crunchiest, fluffiest pastries I've ever had!! Good selection of western and japanese food in the buffet. Adequate parking for our hire car. Hotel shop had good range of items for ski gear Only small things that could be improved: - some reception staff could have better English skills (although completely get that this is Japan) - Our ski hire duration could have been a bit more flexible - our first day we didn't start till 2pm and I hoped to have a morning on our last day to fill out a full day's hire, however this request was declined - window froze shut - reception staff suggested we use a hair dryer to unstick, which worked (but took a while) - yes, I know it's the depths of winter Overall would easily recommend this hotel to friends and family, and will definitely be back!

From the calm front desk, I walked down the hall and found the room spacious and chic too. However, I was surprised when I opened the curtains, and from the window, there was only a slope that covered the dry grass on the muddy ground, and a blue sheet stretched right next to me. I was convinced that the open-air bath I went to later was surrounded by blue sheets, and I was sorry that this was just part of the construction. I was disappointed with the mountainside room on the ground floor, even though it wasn't that busy. Only the breakfast buffet and the elderly staff who showed me around made a good impression.

Everything exceeded expectations. We had breakfast twice and dinner once and it was very good. The steak was especially delicious and the whole family had it many times. The breakfast bread was served freshly baked and warm and crisp, and it was great to eat any of them. The bath was not so hot, so I took a morning bath and an evening bath. The outdoor bath while watching the snow was really good. It is pisteside, so you can rent it and go straight to the slopes, and the location is very good. The entire hotel is renovated and beautiful, and the kiosks are also well stocked with food and drink, souvenirs, and skiing equipment. It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes, and I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.
