Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The room, bath, and breakfast were all just okay. If you're not looking for a spectacular breakfast or a bath with a night view, this area is good enough for the price for a business trip.

The location is good for visiting the downtown area near Goryokaku. The facilities themselves are sufficient for a business hotel, and I was personally satisfied. The advantage over hotels of this class in this area is the large hot spring bath, and you can move around the building in your work clothes, so there is no stress. The breakfast is what you would find at a regular business hotel, but as a repeat visitor to Hakodate, I feel that the breakfast war in Hakodate is a bit excessive, so I have no complaints, and naturally the breakfast price is cheaper. The location is close to restaurants and bars. There are many options for bars, especially compared to areas near the station.

The location is good to visit goryokaku. The hotel has the usual amenities of a Japanese business hotels. Unfortunately the hotel has policies discriminating against foreigners, and treat them as suspects upon arrival.
