This hotel has seen a lot of comings and goings it is past its prime but at 3500 yen for a night in a single room when all you need is a warm room, a clean bed it was perfect. The interior décor might be something from the 70s it has been there since the 70s and there is a odour du tobacco. So if you smoke it really is great. Great value and it does make you get out and see Abashiri and the surrounding areas as you really don't want to stay in there more than you have to
