Hotel Route Inn Kushiro Ekimae

During a consecutive night stay, I left the Shishamo fish I bought as a souvenir on the table when I went out, but when I returned in the evening, it was gone. I contacted the front desk, but they said they hadn't thrown it away by mistake. I didn't know that this kind of thing could happen in a Japanese hotel. It wasn't a hot spring, but there was a large public bath and the free breakfast was not bad, so I liked it, but I don't think I'll be using it again. I was contacted by the hotel headquarters later, but I didn't feel any sincerity at all.

I stayed here for the first time because my usual hotel in Kushiro is hot in the summer. However, it was even hotter than my usual hotel, which was a problem. I killed time at the station cafe until early in the evening and went outside a few times. It was still cool outside because there was a breeze. I had no choice but to borrow an electric fan. The window in the room opens a few centimeters, so when I opened it, this time I was met with insects. It wasn't a small insect, but a grasshopper-like thing about 4 cm in size came in, which was a pain. Also, the TV screen shows how busy the coin laundry is, but the information is not shared. Even if the screen says that the coin laundry is free, when I actually go there, the laundry is being washed. I left the hotel early the next morning without having breakfast. There's nothing I can do about the hardware, but it's a shame that the software can be improved somehow. Route into Honshu is completely different.

One block from train station. Small twin room and bathroom with firm bed and buckwheat pillows. Lobby has seating to wait for others, but not comfortable for lounging. Good soba dinner in restaurant. Breakfast mostly Japanese food, just OK quality. Check out 10 am ; check in 3 pm.
