We stayed here for a few days recently and this hotel, was quite different from other hotels , we had stayed in in Hokkaido. It is on the BIG! side. The lobby is large and you are encouraged to use the self check in unit, there are staff to assist with this. Our room was twin was in the West Wing and offered a spectacular view over the sea. We had breakfast and dinner included and these were well organised and a large selection of western and Japanese dishes on offer. The freshly made sushi and tempura at dinner - were a stand out. This hotel can accommodate a large amount of people , but meal times are well organised. We didn't use the onsen or pool, but these were very popular. There is a good sized on site parking and some well priced souvenir shops also. It is about a 20 min walk to the port, but it is uphill back. Well worth a stay!

This hotel was located on the hill in Shari-cho. Everything here is huge by Japanese standards. The lobby was massive. The rooms were large, quiet, clean but not quite warm enough. The onsen was the size of a football field with different pools and facilities. There were shops inside the hotel. Dinner was a buffet service with a very wide range of cuisine types, and most interestingly, with local Hokkaido dishes. Breakfast was in a large room overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk. There was free outdoor parking.

The room in this hotel is a bit dated. There are a lot of hotel employees but they are all standing around "looking like busy". Basic things like luggage service doesn't exist here. The hotel staff will pretend to be busy but seems like not doing anything. We stayed two nights but there is no room cleaning unless you stay three nights. It's part of their SDG initiative. So we followed the instructions to place our soiled towels outside our room. The cleaner took the towels but never replaced the towels. We had to go by ourselves to the reception desk to get the replacement towels. One of the dryer was working not very well too. I had to pay for another dryer and stayed up till late because of the non functioning dryer. The hotel is situated on a hill and the plus point is that you get a good sunset view of the bay. Breakfast selection was good but also basically poor service
