An amazing stay and highly recommend. Every single minute here feels like you’re in another world. Note: take advantage of booking the bus Shuttle to/from the train station so you can relax on the hour drive to the resort. It’s free when booking your room. The moment the bus drives up, the line or staff is there to greet each of the guests and whisk you away into luxury. The staff is beyond amazing and attentive. At times there’s a language barrier but it’s never an issue. Everyone is warm, attentive and want to make sure you get all that you want and need during your stay. The room is amazing with the view of the forest. We are here after a good snow storm so it was just winter wonderland everywhere. The room’s amenities are unmatched. The in room onsen is above par. Cannot rave enough. The food is unmatched as well. Culinary excellence in both the dinner and breakfast that one cannot find anywhere. Delicious with amazing layers of flavors. The design of the hotel is modern elegance and zen with warm wood and amazing calming fragrances thru out the resort.

This is the worst service. I put bad reviews on travel websites because I wasn't satisfied with the service at all. It has been deleted due to the circumstances of the posting. I contacted the inn, but they've been letting me through. There are some emails that we exchange, so I would like to post them. Probably trying to only post good reviews I will never stay again. Make sure no one reads and uses good reviews.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Japan. I have well travelled in Japan before and the staff there treated me as their family member. I would like to specially thank you Yamaguchi and Matsuyama san and the driver (sorry I did not get his name), they went beyond their duties and helped so much during my stay. Yamaguchi san spoke English fluently and Matsuyama san provided great suggestion on attractions near the hotel. The driver was lovely and he spoke English well too! This hotel, although is a bit far away from Jozankei Onsen area (about 10 minute drive), it has a very nice view of the forest. The hotel provided all day coffee, late night snack and soft drinks during the stay, so we dont have to go to the convenience store for food. The dinner was very nice, I love the pasta and beef especially. The breakfast was served as semi-buffet style. There is no outdoor onsen unfortunately. It would be nice if there is one facing the beautiful forest. Housekeeping was very good and the room is spotlessly clean! Remember to reserve your slots for a free shuttle between the hotel and Sapporo JR Station. It only takes less than one hour and you are in this hidden gem.
