Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel

The main attraction of this hotel is its outstanding location. It is very conveniently accessible with a 2-3 minute walk from Susukino Subway Station, and Odori Park is also within walking distance. During my stay, I was able to fully enjoy Autumnfest and sightseeing in Sapporo. Although the building itself feels somewhat aging, it was clean and impressive. There are also four elevators, so even when it was busy, the journey was smooth with little waiting time. The guest room was only a little audible in the next room, not much to worry about. However, there are many foreign tourists in the lobby area, and there were times when the traffic line from the elevator to the entrance/exit was filled with people, giving the impression that it was somewhat crowded and restless. And what was very unfortunate was the equipment trouble and the subsequent front desk response. On the morning of the second day of my stay, the ceiling lights in the guest room stopped working, so I told the front desk. However, when I went out and returned in the evening, it hadn't improved, and I ended up spending my stay in a dimly lit room. "When I re-told them at checkout, they simply said, ""I'll exchange it."" There was no apology whatsoever for the inconvenience." Even though the trouble itself was inevitable, I was greatly disappointed that they did not respond and that they did not say sorry. It is a real shame that the impression of the hotel has changed so much just by dealing with the staff, because the good location stands out.

I tend to choose the area around Sapporo Station for business trips, but I felt it would be much more beneficial to walk an extra few minutes and stay at this hotel in the Susukino area. The price is relatively low, the building itself is bigger and the lobby is bigger than other business hotels! Tenant restaurants are also included, so it's no problem with a no breakfast plan. Last time, it was a room on the front side of the hotel, so it faced a big street, and I was concerned about noise such as neon lights at night, a man in a car, and people coming and going. This time it was a room facing the back side of the hotel, so at night I was able to spend my time without worrying about the lights and noise outside. It was an environment where privacy was protected even when curtains were opened. ★The guest room on the back side is recommended. And Rich is the best. Next door to the hotel is Kokonosuki, where I got everything I needed. The grocery section is on B1! It was not a convenience store, but it was a reasonable price, and I was able to eat on the way to work and even get souvenirs. There was also a Daiso, which allowed him to buy what he needed immediately during his business trip. Restaurants such as izakaya were also very large and relatively reasonable compared to the area around Sapporo Station, so I was able to enjoy the night during my business trip very much ^_^ It was also relatively close to the bus stop for New Chitose Airport, which also spared me the trouble of getting back to Sapporo Station. Anyway, the usability and richness were good.

This hotel was nice and clean and very conveniently located to everything. We stayed here for three nights and it was comfortable. The only thing to note is that since the hotel can get busy, the elevators can be full so if you need to leave at a certain time give yourself some extra time for the elevators.
