Hotel Shiretoko

It’s a mass market hotel with bus loads of tourists expect long queues at peak periods. Room was spacious for 3. Think there's room for 4. 3 mirrors in the room so was very handy. Toilet however was small with bathtub, wash basin and toilet bowl all cramped together We were in room 423, could smell food from the 2nd floor dining hall below. Dinner buffet was good, tender beef cubes, prawns tempura, sushi, pastries etc Located on hill, away from sea. Our room had 4 lights and consequently was very bright. Many hotels in Japan are dimly lit. Also many number power points, another plus points

The worst Wi-Fi speed: 170,000 pings, I can't even see a website with numbers I've never seen, honestly, I shouldn't stay at the worst inn ever.

It was a Viking, but I didn't see people from any of the countries that have been in a lot of trouble lately, and the customer base was good. The food was substantial.
