Mercure Noto Resort & Spa

We chose Royal Hotel Noto to spend a relaxing time with our family. We entered the room immediately after arriving, and it was clean and spacious. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style. The food was more creative than other domestic hotels, and we enjoyed the delicious food, including ingredients unique to Noto such as blackthroat seaperch, turban shells, and Noto beef. The staff were polite in guiding us to our table and explaining the food, which we liked. The dining area was spacious enough, and even though it was full, we were able to relax without being crowded. The guests were a diverse group, including middle-aged couples, families with young children, women's groups, Taiwanese families, and group tours. The bath was quite large, and there was an open-air bath and sauna, so we spent a long time in the bath. There are no convenience stores nearby, so we recommend that you buy some snacks for a midnight snack. There is no hot spring town, but the shops are quite large, and for this price on a family trip, it feels like a good deal. We just got back from our trip, but we are talking about going again just by myself during the autumn leaves season.

It's been years since I've stayed here. The greenery is soothing. The elevator is clean and tastefully renovated. The rooms and hot spring bath are spacious and comfortable. You can see a beautiful sunset from the rooftop. Unfortunately, it is closed at night. What was surprising was the breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of items (more than twice as many as the hotel I stayed at the next day), and even if there were a group of guests it wasn't bothersome. They also had grilled turban shells and fugu tempura. I'm worried about whether they can keep it running. The value for money is excellent. The only complaint is that some people get into the bath without washing their bodies.

stayed in the superior twin room. wow, it was unexpectedly big, with western style beds and a tatami mat area. the fridge/freezer was big by hotel standards, and the toilet was a hit with the double sinks. We didnt have much of a view, but the clean, comfortable room made up for it!
