A great hotel, we've stayed there three times a week. The spacious comfortable lobby, the well-equipped rooms, the level of service of the staff, the breakfast with an extensive (local and western choice), - this kind of thing is no exception in Japan. Exceptional here: the perfect location, near "the" garden. Finally: the onsen is spacious, not too crowded and equipped with a sauna. What a hotel!

Absolutely the best hotel to stay in Kanazawa. We love staying at the Kanazawa Hakuchoro Hotel Sanraku, the staff are wonderful, helpful and kind! The rooms spacious and comfortable and clean, and the onsen is lovely. The coffee lounge is relaxing and delicious vienna coffee. Relaxing live piano in the lounge of an evening. Laundry facilities very useful. Great proximity to the castle and Kenrokuen gardens. A reasonably priced quiet and peaceful hotel!

Amazing location, a short walk to the Higashi Chaya District, the Castle Park, Kenraku-en Garden, Omi-Cho Market and more. The hotel is charming, impeccably maintained. The rooms are well-outfitted with a free mini-bar. In the lobby, a violinist and a pianist add to the old-world ambience. Beyond that, the hotel staff is gracious and unfailingly helpful.
