Apikogen Mori no Hotel

I used it for sightseeing in Hachimantai and Api Highlands. The room was clean and comfortable. The bath is called "Molden's Bath" and it is wonderful. The exquisite squishy feeling was so comfortable that my family said, "I want to go again! So much so that he was complaining about it. For dinner, I ordered yakiniku comparing the tastes of Maesawa beef. The Maesawa beef was of course delicious, and the rest of the dishes were pretty good. The next morning's breakfast was just the right amount and the curry and rice was excellent. I also liked the attentive and at-home response of the staff. I was very happy to receive a lot of care not only from the Japanese staff but also from the foreign staff. It's a great inn of just the right size. I would love to revisit it!

We are family x 5 stayed at room 106 from 27-28oct checked in at 4:30pm on a cold rainy day. Plus points: 1. Comfortable feeling when arrived at hotel. Atmosphere is warm, clean and courteous staff. 2. Shabu shabu dinner is tasty and breakfast spread is sufficient with good quality. 3. Room is clean though not too spacious. 4. Free ramen at 10:30pm to 11:00 pm is good for those who have 1st dinner setting. 5. Free coffee n tea at lobby area. However we felt there is room for improvement from hotel as well: 1. Since there is no lift, it will be nice for hotel to render assistance on bring suitcase to the level we stay. 2. It is first onsen hotel we stayed that housekeeper did not help to lay the 5 futons while we were eating 2nd setting of dinner. We have to help ourself to lay all by ourselves at almost 10 pm. 3. They fixed our dinner at 8 pm is really late especially on a cold raining day. One of us had very low blood sugar and she almost fainted. It will be nice for hotel to provide maybe some snack or a sandwich while waiting for the second seating at 8 pm. Overall it’s a good hotel with some autumn leaves surrounding it. Quite picturesque.
