It's a Showa-era hotel, and not in a good way. The rooms are inconvenient to use and have a strange smell. You get used to the smell so it's not a big problem, but it leaves a bad first impression. The location is good, there is a hot spring, and the food is delicious. The staff are also nice. They seem to be working hard to liven up this old hotel with ingenuity, which I like. The open-air bath on the roof is so open that even the washing area is open, and it was too cold in March to go in.
