I visited with my wife at the end of March (cherry blossom season). It is said to be walking distance, but I took a taxi from Manazuru station because there was a trunk (about 5 minutes) When we arrived, it was a nice Western-style hotel. It was a bit of a struggle to get up because it was a trunk from the first floor by stairs, but the front desk is on the second floor. I arrived early so I had to wait on the sofa in the lobby. The front desk has a swimming pool in front of you and a view of the ocean. There is a coffee machine for your service. We were shown to the room a little earlier and enjoyed the view from the room. Then we went to the public bath. They use hot water from Yugawara Onsen (circulation) The sauna can be used by changing men and women. Based on the percentage of baths, I thought it was quite a large sauna. I was happy because I put it in slowly. I'm disappointed with the shampoo provided in the public bath. POLA (aroma [02esse forehandGold) is different. I have exactly the same thing in my house, but it smells different from what this hotel has, and the texture is different, which makes my hair dry. The contents would be something else for business. If you have long thin hair, you should bring shampoo. There are basic cosmetics in the dressing room, such as a snow-skinned toner. I don't know if this is different inside. I had some basic cosmetics I brought with me so I didn't use them. Dinner is served around 6 p.m. at the restaurant with a view of the sea behind the front desk. French is famous. The taxi driver was there, but the locals also came for dinner. The bread is so delicious! It's a hard bread, but you can get a refill with a fluffy freshly baked one. Salmon, fish and beef were delicious, but the wine wasn't very ... white for 1200 yen ... I didn't order red wine because it wasn't my thing. The food was good, but I also wished the wine was delicious. Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. You can choose Japanese or Western food. We had Japanese food. The salad was delicious with locally grown vegetables and salmon. (I wanted ham because it was salmon at night.) It was nice to have decaf for coffee. Thank you very much.

I visited for the hot spring. It is located a little before the town of Yugawara, heading from Tokyo to Yugawara. The sea is right in front of you, and there are no convenience stores nearby. My room was on the second floor, but you could see the sea and it felt like a resort. However, there was only a slight partition between the rooms, so you could see everything, and you couldn't relax on the chairs on the balcony. The meal was a French course, which I hadn't had in a while, and it was very delicious with a very careful finish. The baths are alternated for men and women. There are three washing areas, the bath is about three tatami mats, and the other one is about six tatami mats. I wonder if it doesn't get crowded during the peak season. It's a little lonely. It's a good inn for those who are not interested in the hot springs, but are looking for a seaside resort and French food to relax at.

Very large rooms, with good facilities, and a balcony with chairs, overlooking the ocean. Huge TV, large bathroom with separate ( and rather powerful!) walk-in shower. Comfortable large twin beds. This small hotel has an old style faded European glamour. Restaurant has all round sea views, which serves a french style menu in the evening, while a pianist plays beautifully. Breakfast is a choice of western or japanese, and was served at the table. The hotel does not have an onsen, but does have a nice spa complex, with 3 different jacuzzis, sauna, tanning beds and a sort of "mist" room that was rather cool. Outdoor pool was empty during our visit. English is not widely spoken in Atami, and the taxi driver had some problems finding the hotel. Also the staff speak very little English. Beware if you have a chip and pin card only for payment - they don't know how to handle them and kept mistakenly cancelling the transaction instead of asking for your PIN. I was unable to make them understand to swipe and sign only. Fortunately my colleagues Santander card was accepted!
