We frequently use it as an inn in Hakone. I was surprised to use it for the first time in a long time this time, and it was very pleasant to spend time with free drinks at dinner, the food was improved and tasted even better, the air conditioning in the room and the TV was renewed. I look forward to using it again. It's a shame that eight teahouses were lost.

I stayed at Hotel Okada and overall the experience was very positive, which is why I rate 4 out of 5. The structure is beautiful and well-kept, and the room with private onsen was really exceptional: a relaxing and high-level experience that I absolutely recommend. Only small note, more as a suggestion than as a real criticism: having to leave very early in the morning, we could not take advantage of breakfast, since the service began at 7:00. I had asked in advance for the possibility of having a breakfast box or to slightly advance the time, but it was not possible. I understand that requests of this kind can be difficult to handle, however, considering the level and price of the facility (however adequate), greater flexibility towards non-standard needs would make the service even more excellent. Recommended, especially for those seeking relaxation and an authentic experience with private onsen.

I visited this hotel during the summer holidays to have a more traditional experience quite different from what we have in the big cities and to get to know a more rural Japan, and I can say that I did not regret it. Departing by train from Tokyo and arriving at the central station in the Hakone region there are buses that for a few euros make the transfer to the hotels. The Okada Hotel is effectively not a recent hotel but is not poorly preserved. We chose the Japanese Style Room with hot-spring bath. Super traditional and no normal bed. Chair without legs Table low. Traditional dressing. To sleep on the "soil". It was an excellent night. Good sleep. To remember. We did the "public baths" inside the hotel. A kind of "spa" in Japanese style. Men on one side and women on the other. A mixture of hot water baths and cold water showers. Extremely relaxing. Totally different from what a Western is used to. We chose to dine at the hotel and not being a buffet from the other world gave to eat well. I think one night here if you don't come late on the 1st day you can get an idea of a different Japan. Enjoy
