Toyoko Inn Shonan Chigasaki-eki Kita-guchi

I went to the famous "Ghost Eboshi Rock" in Chigasaki. Tatsumi Fishing Tackle Shop departs almost every day at 10am and 12pm on their fishing boats (1,500 yen per person). I stayed there on the way. As you'd expect from Toyoko Inn, the room was spacious and the bathtub was large. The service is thorough and detailed, so I felt at ease. Of course, there is a free breakfast service. From 6:30am to 9am. It's a buffet style now, so the selection is a little limited, but it's enough for breakfast. Bread is also available. Croissants and red bean danishes. Comes with blueberry and strawberry jam. Drinks include orange juice and coffee. Coffee service is free until 10am. There is a cafe called "Coffee Club" a few minutes walk away, which seems to be popular. All seats are smoking-friendly, so it may not be suitable for non-smokers. There are no convenience stores around the hotel, but there are two about a five-minute walk away. It feels too far to go shopping casually. Also, it's a little far from Chigasaki Station, about a 10-minute walk away. Be careful not to get confused as another Toyoko Inn, Shiyakusho-mae, has opened nearby. The only disappointment was that it was quite expensive for Golden Week. There are surprisingly few hotels in Chigasaki, so it can be difficult to find a place to stay.

I stayed here for one night with my wife. Parking was conveniently located within the hotel grounds, and on the ground floor rather than in a multi-storey car park. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but it was clean and comfortable. The receptionist kindly gave us advice on how to use the check-in and check-out terminals. The hotel was reasonably priced and had good value for money.

This hotel has a good location. Only 7 minutes walk from Chigasaki station. It has clean room, standard facilities for people who just need a place to sleep and take a rest after all day activities. It also has free breakfast, and you can enjoy a simple Japanese food every morning. Good taste and you can feel a hospitality of Japanese people.
