Me and my aunt booked a room for 2 at apa hotel tsurumi. But when we arrived there we were given a room (room 607) which was obviously good for 1 person. What they did was give us 2 sets of everything to make it look like 2. We can no longer withdraw because they already took the payment (credit card) and of course the hassle of finding another hotel plus my aunt was tired from the trip. We stayed there and slept like we were in a can. We can’t move because there’s no room for moving as obviously the room given to us was good for one. You better avoid this hotel. We got this kind of room. Is this good for 2? I thought Japanese offers good service? This was the worst!

Surrounding area not hectic at all. Room was clean and nice. Stayed almost a week here. Got enough desired rest and good selection of breakfast at the buffet. Minus point, too far from train station but still in the walking distance.

The Apa chain were a staple for us during our travels around Japan. Is one is rather tired, but clean enough and the staff were very polite and helpful. Only a two minute walk from the train station and in turn only a 20 minutes train ride to HND airport (on the express train). There is a shopping mall on hand, but if you’re after a more livelier spot try something closer to Yokohama.
