Hakone Hotel Kajikaso

Ideal location Typical and comfortable room Very, very mediocre meals, inedible for my friends.. As for me, being allergic to fish, they did not even serve me an omelet; I received a categorical refusal. In Japan, you adhere to their rules. Yet, I paid for my meal. Outrageous. Flee. Go eat Japanese curry at the Cocoro restaurant just a few meters from the hotel.

A traditional onsen ryokan with an atmospheric atmosphere located within a 10-minute walk of Hakone-Yumoto Station. It's a good location, about an hour and a half by Romance car from Shinjuku. It is an inn where you can enjoy hot springs and delicious kaiseki cuisine gushing from nine sources. This time, I booked a vacation and stayed in a room called “[Kisaki] Japanese-style room on the riverside with a kakenagashi open-air bath 12.5 jo”. The spacious 12.5 tatami mat Japanese-style room with a wide veranda overlooks the river. The open-air bath is also more spacious and pleasant than I thought. Meals were room meals for both dinner and breakfast, but the food was also very satisfying in both quality and volume. The entire inn is quite large, with a restaurant and public bath, as well as a small old-fashioned arcade, karaoke, lounges where you can relax and footbaths, making it a great place to enjoy a travel-like atmosphere. Operationally, there were a lot of subtleties, but the staff were all good people and I was very impressed. The plan this time was for each rider to be in the 30,000 yen range, but overall it was pretty good. I think it's pretty easy to get there considering the standing ground.

The location of the hotel is convenient, just a few minutes from the station. Welcoming was, as throughout Japan, perfect they made themselves available to us for everything. The facility has everything and is great. It has a beautiful onsen with various tubs. it is open until 1 every day the next day the entrances between the 1st and 6th floor men/women are reversed. It also has a nice little shop with various gadgets at honest prices. We also had a nice massage. The room was large and river view we ate well, although several courses, especially for breakfast, can result with too much taste at least for us Italians used to the croissant (which is not there). sleeping in the futon was very comfortable. overall we had a great time, the structure could be slightly modernized (eg plugs and light buttons), but I repeat we had a great time. would definitely stay again
