Yoshimatsu

This traditional ryokan was amazing. I don’t have other ryokan experiences, but the attention and service here were top notch. We enjoyed the Kaiseki dinner, relaxing onsen, and the amazing breakfast. I wish we had booked 2 nights in this peaceful oasis. Breakfast was my favorite!

I was finally able to stay at Kamatsu-san, whom I admired. When I was young, I thought it was nice but at this price I could stay in another hotel for two nights, so I didn't have a connection. But life is limited. Of course, life expectancy is still a long way off, but given healthy life expectancy, I thought I should do what I want to do while I can, so this time I stayed in a Japanese-style room with an open-air bath for two nights. A good inn is different after all. Unfortunately, it rained on both days, but I was healed by the beautiful fresh green garden that I could see through the full glass of the Japanese-style room, and I could relax just by being in the room. The food was also great and served in the dining room, so I could sit back and relax without sitting in the seiza. The room attendant's gestures were also quiet, and I was able to spend two really quiet and calm days without making any extra noise. What I also thought was particularly amazing was that on the way home, he came to my room to pick up my things. It was the first time they would take me to my room, although it was normal for them to take me to their car at the door. Also, when I left the accommodation building, there was a person who would match my shoes, and I was always very smiley and polite. On the last day, the rain cleared and the check-out time was 11 o'clock, so we had coffee and tasted the open-air bath. For the ryokan, I think it would be very easy to work if you are out at 10 o'clock, but at 10 o'clock you feel hectic and restless and the last impression is inevitably bad. That's why I always try to choose an inn with an 11 o'clock checkout. It was an inn with the right answer to everything. On my way home, my husband and I even talked about when we should come again. If you want to relax, if you are tired of other noisy customers, if you want to eat delicious light Japanese food, we recommend it!

I cannot say enough positive things about this beautiful and relaxing ryokan. The setting is stunning and a perfect example of Japanese gardens. Soaking in the onsen baths are the best way to relax after a day of travel or sightseeing. I enjoyed the morning by soaking in the outside onsen. The daily breakfast and dinners are called Kaiseki with multiple course and presented in the most beautiful ceramics and dishes. Our room hostess was so delightful and made our experience even better. Everyone at the Ryokan, from the people at the front desk to the lovely men at the doors were dedicated to making our stay better with a welcoming smile. Additionally, this Ryokan is located within a short walk to the town where many opportunities for sightseeing are possible. An impressive view of Mt Fuji was the cherry on top. We will go back.
