The hot spring ♨️ was the best ~ The rooms were thoroughly cleaned. Thank you for your attentive service! However, Kurokawa Onsen is a narrow road

There were foreigners who refused to bathe because the bath was crowded. There are such caveats. People who drop in at the hot springs need to be careful. I went to Kurokawa Onsen for the first time by car, but the road was narrow and there were ups and downs, so it was quite a tough place to drive. After a seven-minute walk, it is safe to park in the free public parking lot that is signposted on National Route 442. I think of it as a walk. We arrived around 14:00. The Ikoi Ryokan one-day bath is 600 yen for adults at the ticket vending machine, and the old and new bills are not accepted. Men are guided to the first floor and women are guided to the women-only open-air bath on the second floor. For men, there is an open-air bath with poured water, a small inner bath for two people, a sauna and two showers in the washroom. The women-only open-air baths have one open-air bath and one standing bath with beating water, and no shower. Only water comes out of the open-air tap. There is only a basket in the dressing room. Locked lockers are located outside the dressing room and cost 100 yen. Lockers that are not returned later. The dressing room is heated. It's not that big, so having five or six people is a great sense of oppression. The quality of the spring in the bath is brown and warms from the core. The standing water is enough to keep your feet on your toes. Deep. Hold on to a bamboo stick and enter. The standing water makes me feel more refreshed and comfortable after being bathed in hot water with my body straight. After getting out of the bath, there are two hair dryers, and the heat is good, so you can sit and do your hair. I've been to various guidebooks since I saw them, but they're smaller than the picture, and they don't say anything negative like no shower or a 100-yen locker that can't be returned. The overall impression is that this is a good place to just enjoy the hot water. There are foot baths and places to relax outside, so you may enjoy just the foot bath without going inside.

It was one of the 3 onsen s I went to on my hopping tour and my favourite. I was a bit confused where female outdoor baths were, as everything was in Japanese, but once found, I was in love. It was everything you expect from Japanese hot springs: design, peace, quality, nature. Simply superb.
