Oyado Nonohana

This inn values privacy and allows you to relax very comfortably. It is a small inn with eight rooms in total, six detached cottage-style rooms and two in the main house. I chose a detached room, which had an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so I was able to relax. Both dinner and the rest of the meal were excellent.

The people here are lovely. The accommodation was huge with fantastic views. The food and meal service was unbeatable and the little things, like afternoon tea & cake and after dinner fruit just add the final touches to the constant terrific service. The private and public outdoor onsen were both such a highlight that i won't forget anytime soon, though i think my partner would have liked a western style indoor shower haha. I highly recommend a stay here.

It is very difficult to pick a hotel in Kurokawa area, and we are not disappointed by Oyado Nonohana. It is a small onsen hotel but all the villas are with private onsen. The private onsen is quite special and ours is not just a wooden or steel tub. It's like a smaller version of a public onsen with rocks. Since the hotel is small, i was the only person bathing in the big public onsen. The only complaint i had is there is not hot water in the public onsen shower. I had turned on the hot water tap for so long but no hot water came out...... Food is awesome!
