The three members of my family have been very helpful. They prepared a very large room, and the open-air bath in the room was large enough to accommodate three people together, and it was available 24 hours a day. We were also shown to a private room where we were very impressed by the delicious food as well as the serving fixtures. The view from the terrace in the sky on the 7th floor was wonderful, and the view of the Kuma River at dusk was an unforgettable travel memory.

This is my third stay. I stayed in a guest room with an open-air bath from the second time. For the second time the pigeons gathered in the open-air bath, but when they drove them away they ran away and nothing happened. I felt uncomfortable from then on, but my third stay turned out to be the worst. After dinner, I was about to take an open-air bath, when some pigeons gathered and were scattered with manure and feathers. It was night, so I didn't know if there was any manure in the bath, and in the end I was too sick to go in. The next morning, I asked the front desk, and they said, "The pigeons come together in a warm place." There was no apology or improvement. When I told them I wasn't getting service, they passed me by silently. I can't help wondering if it's a five-star inn. By the way, the food is delicious, but it doesn't change, so it's not suitable for repeat customers.

I made a reservation for a Japanese-Western room with an open-air bath at a special price on the first day of the Hitoyoshi Disaster Recovery Discount. I read a lot of past reviews carefully and got a good idea of what to expect. The room, meals, and other grades were well balanced with the price, so even I, who am a bit picky, was very satisfied. It was a weekday, so there were few guests and it was quiet and comfortable. I was able to park in front of the entrance, and there was no excessive service, so it was comfortable. However, a few days after I made the reservation, the price increased significantly on the website, so I was worried if I could really stay at the promised price, and called twice to confirm (lol). I recommend checking in early during the off-season, avoiding the busy season.
