The atmosphere among all the staff is very nice. Also, the food was delicious. Considering that this type of food includes two meals, I thought the price was really cheap. Thank you. I was also surprised that the young female proprietress made the effort to come out to meet the regular guests. I felt embarrassed when she saw us off because it was so hot here. I don't know what the facility was like before, so I can't say for sure, but I think they have renovated what they can to get to where they are now. There are still some small things that I think could be renovated, but I can imagine that they will be done in stages. The views from the rooms and dining area are wonderful, and the hospitality was also very good.

This is a very traditional onsen ryokan without any fusion . Second time here since 2015 even inthe same room with private onsen. Almost the same. Both dinner and breakfast are traditional Japanese kaiseki . Big and delicious with local seafood like oyster, lobster and abalone. All staffs are friendly and extremely helpful. Meals served in room with dining table. I visited also the public bath which is quite big with water from different spring. Definitely with come back.

Stayed for one night while visiting my wife's family in Japan. Travelled with our 18months old son but everything was just right. Received one of the highest standard of customer care I have ever received from these Japanese ryokan which is renowned for excellence in customer service - so I would give this place a six star rating! For a very affordable price, we were surprised to see such variety of dishes for both dinner and breakfast. Seafood was just superb. Having a dedicated staff looking after us throughout our stay made us feel so special and well cared for. I would recommend this place for anyone traveling the region - worth every cent and more!
