Koyo Grand Hotel

There were advantages of a long-established hotel that was completely different from the new increasing number of chain hotels. The staff (especially the women) were very kind and gave us a service spirit to make our guests feel comfortable. The towering brown building, the entrance welcomes you with a variety of furnishings and sculptures set up in the lobby. They are a mixture of Japanese, Western and Chinese, and although there is no sense of unity, I was able to feel the history and long-established feeling. The room was set up in the old style itself, but it was well cleaned and there was no discomfort. (Check in and change the first room to another room because it had a unique smell, no problem) The overtourism trend has also had a significant impact on Sendai, where the hotel was within budgetary limits amid the escalating cost of accommodation. Breakfast would have been nice if we had a buffet, but we only had a set menu (Japanese and Western).

Goyo Photo Studio (Goto Koyo Studio) I'll post. In Japan, passport photos that are super easy to take are not the same in the United States. First of all, in Japan, you can easily take your own photos with Purikura, but even those Purikura are nowhere to be found. I have to go around Japanese supermarkets in the U.S. In the States, you can go to a photo studio and have someone take a picture of you, but it's too expensive. I could have my picture taken at a relatively cheap U.S. post office, at an office service center run by the shipping companies UPS and FEDEX, or at Walgreens, a pharmacy, but I wasn't even tanned, I was taken in black even though I was Japanese, and handed a picture of my face looking black. When I returned to Sendai, I was walking around thinking I was in trouble when I saw this photo studio and asked at the reception desk. When I asked him, he said that three passport photos would cost 3,300 yen, and that he would adjust them. There's no more hesitation, so I decided immediately. He took a few test shots to a certain extent and took about 10 photos during the show, and I was able to choose the best photos from them with the photographer. This is the only place in the world where you can get this kind, kind-hearted and attentive service. Nowadays, it is easy to take your own photos, but I think it is best to have a professional take photos of important driver's licenses and passports.

There is a parking lot underground, so you can park with peace of mind. Guests are guaranteed to be able to park. It's also close to the downtown area, so it's easy to go out drinking at night.
