Good location about 5 minutes walk from Sendai Station. Its location is easy to understand because it is located along the main street. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable enough for a business hotel. The ground-floor lobby was lined with tables and desks, making it a convenient space for a bit of work or a break. The coffee is free and there is a power outlet at the counter. With breakfast included plans, you can enjoy the buffet in the morning in this space. Hotel near the station.

We booked this hotel at 8pm on arriving in Sendai, after our planned Sendai hotel fell through--the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms they had available were tiny (we are a family of four and they put us in two rooms with a full-bed each) but the rooms were next to each other, so that was helpful. The rooms were minimalist and the mattresses a little uncomfortable, but they did the job and were air conditioned and quiet, despite our being on the 7th floor right at the level of the JR trains. In fact, the kids enjoyed watching them zoom by the window. The lobby amenities (breakfast, pjs, etc.) were beyond what I would expect for the price. Our last minute save turned out to be quite an enjoyable stay!

I am a Toyoko Inn club member and have stayed in numerous Toyoko Inn branches all over Japan and this was the first time I had actualy met with a broken aircon. The aircon was not working properly and it took 3 visits for the reception to come up to check (after fiddling with buttons and asking me to monitor for awhile more) before finally providing me with a fan/cooler for the night. Room change was not possible as the hotel was full that night. It wasted alot of my time and honestly I expected something (a discount for the next stay or something due to the inconveniences I faced) but there was nothing. Also considering the name, this hotel is quite far from the station exit. Famous gyutan restaurants are nearby though, as well as convenience stores
