I stayed here for three nights from January 22nd. I asked if I wanted to put the ashes in the ashtray in the trash, and they kindly replied that I should take it out, which I liked. When I went to get the newspaper at 5am, there was someone preparing breakfast and working at the front desk, which was earlier than the first train, so I liked it. The sheets and towels were white, it was clean, the room was spacious, and the TV was big. The hotel laundry rope in the bathroom was convenient and good. The negative point is that there are often no newspapers.

It takes about 7-8 minutes to walk from the west exit of Sendai Station, so it's not that close, but it's within walking distance. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so you won't have any inconveniences, and there is also a convenience store about 1 minute walk away, so you won't have any inconveniences. The room was clean and there were no problems, but on the morning of the day I stayed there, there was a magnitude 3 earthquake and my cell phone was ringing, which made me quite anxious. In times like these, it's a little safer to stay on the lower floors. The free breakfast was also very good. Checking out was very convenient, as you just had to insert your card into the machine.

Been staying in this particular toyoko inn over the past 15 years visiting my Japanese friends in Sendai. I am also a toyoko inn member over the past 25 years. This is the only horrible experience i have ever come across. As soon as i went into the assigned room 916 at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. Room curtains were already drawn and i was wondering why. However i was meeting my Japanese friends in a rush and didn't really take much notice of it. Upon returning to my room at 10pm. Opened those curtains and found that my assigned room was facing directly the Shinkansen tracks as well as the subway tracks. Couldn't rest at all because of the noise in every 2 to 5 minutes starting from 0502h to 2430h. Couldn't really be bothered to discuss this with the staff because of the 1 night stay only. Hotel Room price was most expensive as Tokyo toyoko inn in Shinjuku. Questions i would like to ask is that there were other twin rooms being available. Why would they assign me the most noisy room? Is that because i am a foreigner who should be treated like this? Please see the uploaded pictures.
