Stayed for 3 nights at a Premium room. A fantastic stay. There was a minor inconvenience during check in due to language barrier, but it was quickly cleared up. Other than that, I would say it’s a perfect stay. The hotel is right next to the train station , and Beth walkable distance across the shopping place. That it’s next to the outlet mall is fantastic. If you love to shop it’s great. If not, it’s a very nice place with parks to walk around. The food court provide great food options. And a few cafes to choose from. There’s a very a convenience shop within the hotel. The premium room wing feels so new and clean. Our room is big , and has a nice balcony. We enjoyed having coffee and just enjoying the garden view and cool air. The hot spring bath is also just a few steps away. So we can take a nice hot bath, then walk straight back to our room without having to go outside. It’s perfect. The service is very friendly and good. I can even go god a run within the compound that is along the villas and cabin rooms. A very vert good stay.

This is my second stay. I have never stayed at another Prince in Karuizawa, but I liked The Prince because it was quiet and calming, and I revisited it. 　Once again, the staff was very responsive and comfortable, from the time of arrival to the time of check-in and check-out. We enjoyed sparkling and draft beer in the lounge as we did last time, so we took it easy reading books. In the morning, cycling through the greenery on an electric bike to the large bath in West felt good. 　Last time and this time it was AMEX freesty and it was platinum, so breakfast was included. With a choice of omelette and egg Benedict, the mushroom and truffle soup was another dish I wanted to try. 　I'm also thinking of staying next summer.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at The Prince. The entire hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, ensuring we felt at home from the moment we arrived. One standout moment was the service provided by Ms. Yoshida at the lounge. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable by engaging our kids in fun and creative origami sessions. They had an absolute blast, and it added such a special touch to our trip. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch, the rooms were comfortable, with a scenic view of the lake. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!
