It's been a while since I last stayed here. The front desk was very friendly when I checked in. The rooms seem to have been renovated, as the wallpaper and carpets were clean. The beds and mattresses seem to have been replaced, as they were not worn out and were very comfortable to sleep on. There are additional outlets and USB ports next to the pillow, so you can easily charge your devices. There is a large public bath on the first floor, with plentiful hot water and a hotter temperature which was very pleasant. The free breakfast which is available when you book through the official website could have been a little less varied in the number of side dishes. Overall, it was not too bad and I think it was a good stay.

Nearest from Shiojiri Inter Change. Room is clean but small. Good enough just to shower and sleep. Breakfast was buffet style and wide variety choices. Free coffee. Large pubric bath tab on up floor. Free newspaper. Staff are kind! Free wifi.

Route Inn Shiojiri was my second experience with a Route Inn property, so the room did not quite look as pokey as the first one. Also the money we paid was a third lower than the first time, so felt better! As expected the rooms were functional and clean; the bathroom was spiffy though someone taller than me would have had a crick in his/her neck. The breakfast fare was reasonable and somehow seemed better than the first time around. More than adequate for a night or two.
