The room was tiny which is pretty typical for a Japanese hotel room, but the bed was like cement as well as the one pillow you are given. They offer a complementary breakfast, which supposedly includes a Western breakfast, but unless you like very runny scrambled eggs, thin yogurt and tiny croissants you will starve. There are tables of beautiful looking Japanese food for their Japanese patrons though. The hotel is tucked back one street from the main road but is very convenient to walk right to the bus station (an hour and a half ride to the Fukuoka Airport), and a shopping mall and a small grocery store (where you can stock up on Western breakfast items and put in the tiny refrigerator in your room). The bathroom was tiny as well. No place to put cosmetics but you find a way. I think it would be almost difficult to navigate around another person in the room. They would have to be sitting on the bed out of the way. But, to be honest, the bed and pillow were almost unbearable and then to have no lovely Western breakfast waiting for you after the princess and the pea experiment gone awry was quite disappointing.

Although it is only a 3-minute walk from JR Sasebo Station, it was convenient for bus access from the airport and various directions due to its location directly from the Nishihi Bus Center. The guest rooms were a bit old-fashioned, and there were some things we wanted to improve, such as low power outlets and no BS broadcasts. Breakfast was served on a large menu, so we stayed for three nights and we were glad to have it without getting bored.

The hotel is located near the bus terminal and also the train station. The room is clean, and there are food options around the hotel. We were perplexed why the room was not cleaned though, as only the bin was cleared. We were also given 1 room card, as 2 cards were not allowed (?). Despite these, we will stay here again due to the location
