As word of mouth suggests, breakfast was amazing. It was so wonderful that I wasn't hungry at all until noon. The room was beautiful and the front desk was very kind. I definitely want to stay again.

2024.03.Sat / Sunwest Hotel Sasebo (Trip to Northern Kyushu) [Accommodation fee] 24,200 yen/2 people. 1 night with breakfast. Reopened on June 1st [Breakfast buffet included] Accommodation plan - Non-smoking twin room [Parking] 1,000 yen (attendant will guide you) [Impressions] It was conveniently located near the arcade in the downtown area and had its own parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet at the observation restaurant on the 9th floor. Nagasaki specialties such as lemon steak and Goto udon were freshly prepared in the live kitchen. Refills were also free. It was a little expensive because it was a Saturday stay, but I was able to relax and was satisfied with the hotel. The entire building had been renovated and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and not worn out. I was only able to reserve a smoking room, but even though I don't smoke, the cigarette smell didn't bother me. The breakfast was delicious, and I was surprised to see the local gourmet lemon steak prepared in the live kitchen. The location was also close to the downtown area, so dinner was not an issue. However, it is quite a distance to walk from Sasebo Station, and it is difficult to walk with a suitcase, so if possible, it would be more convenient to go to Matsuura Tetsudo Nakasasebo. It's surprising that a hotel costs less than 10,000 yen these days.
