I stayed here during the Nagaoka Fireworks special price period (obviously more expensive than usual). I didn't know about the food because it was a room-only stay... I could have given it five stars, but to list the negative points... ① It was very clean. There were snacks left in the Japanese-style room, which I think were from the previous guest, and the windows were not cleaned properly, so the details were not great, but it was generally good. Those rough parts were the negative points ② The bathroom, including the changing room, felt very clean. The bath was also comfortable. Perhaps because they limit the number of guest rooms, I was able to relax whenever I went in. It felt good. However, although it was advertised as "direct from the source," the indoor and outdoor baths only had a very small amount of water, which was a real shame, and if there were a lot of guests, wouldn't the quality of the water drop significantly? I was a bit bothered by how stingy it was. It's a shame because the baths are so good. ③ Well, with the special price, it was inevitable that they were taking advantage of the fireworks and ripping me off. Well, it may be unavoidable since the surrounding inns are fully booked, but it still feels a bit pricey. This isn't limited to this inn, but my honest impression is that they're taking advantage of people's weaknesses. Apart from these points, this inn would be rated at least four stars. Thank you for your hospitality. I would definitely like to return at the regular price, including the food.

They have friendly staff, a shuttle service that brings you to several resorts and both train stations within certain time on hourly basis. Food is generally ok. But to have no bathroom inside the hotel room is certainly very strange. The only way to have a bath is at the public bathroom. Yes you heard it right. There is no private bathroom.

We booked early so we got an early bird plan that was of great value. 2000JPY off per person for their popular meal course. There was a big bowl of sashimi and delicious stone grilled beef in the meal course. The hotel had a rack of toys at the lobby which we can borrow back to the room to play... very kids friendly! There was a nearby strawberry farm - Ichigomura (30min on foot) which we could still do strawberry picking in early June. Strawberry was so sweet and juicy!!!!
