The public baths are slightly smaller. I think there was a wide variety of breakfast, but there was no seafood. Conveniently located near the station. I'm more concerned about the step difference between the unit bath and the room. It is a little more expensive than Niigata, perhaps because there are fewer hotels or more demand.

A big shout of thanks to the two young ladies on duty of the night of Sat. 18th May for their fantastic service. We arrived late and with luggage, and with the car park some distance away, these two struggled with bags to get us to the reception. The rooms had everything we needed and the big bath was more than welcome. I'd heartily recommend this place to anyone visiting Nagaoka!

I chose this hotel because it was close to the station, had a large public bath, and had a breakfast buffet. I asked a question when I made a reservation online, but I received a polite reply the next day. The exterior looks old, but once inside, the lobby and rooms had a clean and modern atmosphere. I don't know how many other guests were staying there, but the noise was not an issue. Perhaps all the guests were well-mannered. The large public bath, changing room, and bathroom were all clean. In addition to the amenities provided at check-in, there were also the standard amenities. The breakfast area was not very large, but it was decorated with flowers, there was a wide variety of food, and the staff were attentive, so I was able to eat comfortably. This has become one of my good memories of Nagaoka. Thank you very much.
