There wasn't much information about superior Japanese-style rooms on the website, and there was only one room in the hotel, so I was wondering what it would be like, but it was very nice. The moment I entered, the entrance was huge. Although the sliding doors looked a little old, the tatami mats, building materials, and toilets looked new, and the entire room was clean. It's 8 tatami mats in size, not too spacious for two people. The view from the room is good and you can go out to the balcony. And of course, the bath. The room has a bathtub made of cypress that can accommodate about 4 people, and the hot spring source comes out of it. It also had windows that could be opened, which was great. I think this should be emphasized more. I would like to stay in this room again. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were very satisfying.
Also, when I made a reservation for the open-air bath on the rooftop, I was required to wear a swimsuit, but I heard that it was renovated in February, and the open-air baths were separated by gender, so I didn't need a swimsuit. This open-air bath is also the best, and the washing area has also been newly built.
