I stayed with my family. Sometimes if you go too early than the check-in time, the front desk staff is gone. The elevator is small, but I don't think the building itself is old. We have a Japanese-style room with a minimum toilet condition, but there is no problem using it. Futons were prepared by the night staff. It was a bit inconvenient that there wasn’t much power in the room. Hot springs are not wide, but they were of good quality. I'm glad the sulfur smell is typical of Beppu. There are not many kinds of breakfast buffets, but I enjoyed them enough. I'm sorry there wasn't coffee. The guests seemed to be a lot of groups and foreign travelers. Considering the good location and the reasonable price, it may help again

We stayed at this hotel during our time in beppu. This was one of the better priced hotel in the region. The room offered a fantastic view out of the window, seaview! We booked this hotel because it had a public bath which saved us from the trouble of commuting to and fro from a public bath in town. The room though was a bit outdated in terms of deco but for sleeping every night, it served its purpose well. Clean room and well appropriated. Parking facility was located right in front of the hotel which was very convenient. There were many eateries around the area as well, not forgetting convenience stores.

The japanese style room for family of 4 is very spacious. There is a foyer area at the entrance of the room large enough for luggage. Room had a bathtub and balcony with a sitting area. Location was fantastic right in central Beppu. Youme Town Beppu is a huge mall just 5-10 mins walk away which has a large supermarket and shops. Many restaurants and izakayas in the vicinity so there is no lack of food options. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we loved the sun filled dining hall with sea views. Typical japanese breakfast which tasted great. There is free parking and onsen onsite. Onsen was a bit crowded and a bit dated. Best of all, the room rate was very reasonable for the quality and room size. Highly recommended.
