Pros: • room is spacious and clean • huge hotel space • both indoor and outdoor onsen are relatively large • amazing buffet dinner and breakfast spread • free drinking water available from water dispenser at level lift lobby Cons: • not all rooms get a good sea view • pillows are too soft

A very warm, friendly and helpful welcome by Pie who spoke good English. Nice resort. Only parts of the resort has been renovated. Not all rooms are renovated. Fortunately we got upgraded to a renovated room which was much appreciated. They have a huge restaurant with lots of seating areas. The breakfast and dinner buffet served the same food as the Mercure in Munakata. Lounge, souvenir shop and kids reading area on the ground floor with reception. Their lounge opens for afternoon tea and night cap for guests staying at the resort. Also another kids area on the 3rd floor. This resort caters for kids. Highly recommend for families with young ones. The rooms are good size. Smart tv in the renovated rooms but not connected to the internet. That was disappointing. In-house self serve coin operated laundry. Overall, we enjoyed the facilities and amenities at this resort. Looking at returning in the near future with the family once the suites renovations are completed. A big shout out to Bigat. Thank you for showing me the suites, thank you for the room upgrade. You sure know how to look after the Platinums

The hotel is situated outside of Beppu and has nice views of the Ocean. It caters primarily for groups and it is well suited for that part of the travel industry. Their dining room is spacious and serves a good array of food. Our sincere thanks to Mariko-San, Admin Manager for going out of her way to arrange special meals and to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Our thanks to Bigat Rana and Lisa Li for their attentive service. Thanks to all the other staff at the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping for their wonderful service.
