Washu Blue Resort Kasago

After our day at Kurashiki, we were excited to spend the night near the sea. The views from our room of the Seto Bridge were amazing. We were pleasantly surprised at the renovations that seem to have been done recently to the rooms. They were Japanese style with a western twist. One of the highlights of this resort are the baths. The one on the 7th floor being an outside bath, beautiful under the stars. (men and women are separate). Along with the fee for the room, breakfast and dinner are included. It is what they call buffet style and there were many choices so something for everyone especially if one enjoys all the Japanese foods. Our only complaints would be that we would perhaps like more quality, rather than more quantity. There were so many octopus dishes but only a few were tasty. What was tasty was the Thai soup. There seems to be some Thai influences in the menu which were a nice. Breakfast was solid and they had real honeycomb for a treat. Itʻs a bit pricey but considering everything and the location it is worth it as a nice treat. As others mentioned, it is not easy to get to the resort so using the resortʻs transport is helpful.

Over rated hotel Rooms r. Old, but have a new modern tv with a few overseas programmes that r hard to connect to Dinner .., a large choice for sea food lovers.. If y do not like sea food, there is oily fried chicken and not more ( o k there r small slices of pizza…. If y have a choice see what other choices y have … Nice lobby with magnificent flower aero

One night stay with two meals, in the main building Washuuka, in a Japanese modern style with two beds and a shower (no indoor bath). The hotel is a little hard to find, but you can find it by turning a corner at the sign on the road and going down the hill. After parking the car in the car park, carrying our luggage, we were asked at the front desk about check-in and breakfast and dinner times, and they then carried our luggage to our room. On the way there, we were given directions to the hotel and our room was on the sixth floor. They were very polite in giving us a brief explanation of the room, and since it was on the sixth floor, the view was great. It was well-cleaned and had a clean feeling. There is a large public bath, so it doesn't matter if there is no bath in the room. Open-air observation deck Baths: Urashima no Yu and Tennyo no Yu are available, and the baths are for men and women only. It was a spectacular view to take a bath while watching the sunrise and the Great Seto Bridge. There is also Nagomi no Yu on the third floor and Minazuki no Yu on the second floor. Meals are served at the buffet dining Ryugu no Tsukai. You hand over your table number tag at the live kitchen (deep-fried skewers, steak, nigiri, sashimi) and they will bring you hot, freshly made food. The sushi is also served in small bowls so you can eat what you like. The freshly made sushi was excellent. Breakfast is served in the same place and is delicious, with shrimp rice and horumon udon noodles. Check-out was also good. Recommended for those who want to spend some time relaxing while eating delicious food and watching the Great Seto Bridge.
