Okinawa Harborview Hotel

The 50th year of major renewal has been completed, making it even more comfortable. The lounge is outstanding here, so I recommend the club floor.

Modern hotel in a very good location in Naha. The room was large, comfortable and clean. You could not hear any noise from outside or inside and the blinds made the room dark enough for sleep at any time of day. Easy walk to restaurants, izakayas, Onoyama park and Kokusai Dori. The breakfast buffet is huge, I highly recommend to add this. We also visited the teppanyaki restaurant and it was pricey but soooo good. The fitness center and outdoor pool are well kept and there is a 7-11 right in the lobby. The lounge serves amazing small plates and drinks. Apparently this is where the Emperor stays when he visits Okinawa.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and were impressed by several aspects of the property. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast buffet. The selection was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. A particularly memorable touch was the inclusion of Blue Seal ice cream, which made the breakfast experience unique and enjoyable. The quality and variety of food exceeded our expectations and catered to all tastes. The hotel also features a good fitness center with a solid selection of equipment for both cardio and strength training. In addition, the spacious swimming pool provided a perfect place to relax and cool off after a busy day. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. However, one area that could be improved is English communication, as some employees had limited English skills, which occasionally made interactions more challenging. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but they were quite small and outdated, especially for longer stays. Another minor issue was that housekeeping occasionally forgot to replenish the tea and coffee sachets in the room, which was slightly inconvenient. Despite these small shortcomings, the excellent breakfast, enjoyable pool area, and good gym facilities made for a very pleasant stay. With a few improvements in communication and room amenities, this hotel could offer an even better guest experience.
