This is an excellent hotel. The service, especially from Mizuki, was exceptional but all the staff were really good it's just that Mizuki stood out as the best. The rooms are huge and the balconies are spacious. Bathroom is very spacious and well set up and they have two air-conditioners, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. But it is much cheaper than the 5-star hotels next to the beach like the Hilton, The Vessel and LeQu for a reason. It is a 600 metre walk to the beach. You can do this in 15 mins but its's hard work in the middle of Summer when it is 35 degrees celsius. It is next to a major road and the traffic noise can be bad until about 1am because there are local hoons on motor bike and hotted-up cars which make a lot of noise (it's part of the local culture for young guys to show off their hotted-up cars at the combinis). It is also strange to have two king singles rather than one king bed in the bedroom but that is a bit of a Japanese thing. I had to do some work on my laptop but they don;t have a study desk so I had to crouch over the laptop on the coffee table so tat would be an improvement. But otherwise, it is much cheaper than the 5-star hotels along the beach and it is very comfortable (despite the traffic noise) and the staff are fantastic.

What can I say...this hotel just blew away any expectations I had. The room was huge, especially by Japanese standards. My room had 2 beds, a spacious living area, huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower, and a large wraparound balcony. Very conveniently located if you want to be near the American Village. The super friendly staff also knocked it out of the park. The breakfast took the cake though. The two breakfasts I had there were among the best meals I had during the 10 day trip, rivaled only by the dinner at the Hyatt Regency Serigaki which was most definitely not included in the room rate. This is not the typical hotel breakfast buffet. They use all locally sourced veggies/meats and cook up a delicious breakfast. I recommend the fish but they have two other options (pork and chicken, I think). If you do nothing else at this hotel, just get the breakfast at the Terrace Garden. You will not regret it.

What a nice hotel. The staff is super friendly, polite, and very helpful. My room had a wonderful view of the American Village and the Ferris wheel. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was amazing. It had the fancy new toilet , great shower and a jacuzzi that was a extremely relaxing. I was amazed as to how large the room was. Furnishings were nice though because I was working I would have like a desk but I managed. I had breakfast here that was fantastic. I’m going to have to move to another hotel because of work and am going to miss this place and the people. Also, the laundry service is very good and reasonable.
