Cannot recommend this place highly enough! I’ve read the reviews and am astounded! There is food and drinks available by the pool and you can get water from a bar where you pick up towels 🤷🏼‍♀️ The hotel is very Japanese! But we loved that, the staff could not have been more helpful and I am a coeliac, who’d done no planning before I arrived. We found Google translate to be enormously helpful We had a sea facing room and honestly all I could hear were the noises of the sea. The rooms are lovely and spacious The sea is amazing so clear! And so calm and there is a shop nearby where you can buy drinks and snacks and a restaurant next to that where you can get lunch There are loads of restaurants here, six of which are open now and some have gluten free options some don’t, but again the staff were massively helpful in letting me know what I could and couldn’t eat The only and I mean only thing that I would say was even slightly annoying was the fact that they didn’t have weights in the gym, but that is a far cry from putting me off this hotel! It is beautiful and very calm and the perfect way to finish our three weeks in japan

A long-established large resort hotel with an outstanding Okinawan atmosphere and a superb location! The only regret was that I was too bad at taking pictures of the lobby staff. I think people in the lobby are often asked for a picture, so the better you are, the better you will be. Other than that, I have nothing to say.

We’re staying in the club section of the resort and it’s really gorgeous. The views are stunning. The staff in general is absolutely wonderful. We went to the La Tida restaurant for dinner last night. It was a buffet dinner, and I have to say it was the absolute worst buffet I’ve ever had. There were several stations with the usual meat and salad and chicken, etc. The roast beef and the pork were extremely dry. The salad bar featured wilted lettuce, tiny displays of various vegetables. The chicken as well was very dry. It’s as if there was no chef responsible for this buffet. It was manned by very young servers, and although they were very polite, were extremely slow at clearing the table of used dishes. It’s as if no staff whatsoever went to the various warmed up stations to see if everything was still warm and I assure you it was not. The “french fries” were cold and tasted like cardboard. The cost of the meal for four of us was approximately $300 Canadian and was not worth 1/4 of that amount. I’ve had better buffet dinners at a Holiday Inn.
