Toyoko Inn Osaka Tsuruhashi Ekimae

This is my first time staying at this hotel. The room is good except the TV is too small. Location is very convenient, there are 3 different train lines you can take and the nearest station only 2 min away. Although the area gets a bit smelly at night, I think it is at an acceptable range. Only con is if you need to take Sinkansen, you need to change twice to get there.

I stayed there 2 weeks ago for 5 days. I choose Deluxe Twin Room to stay. The room space is large enough and 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) can sleep very well.The Metro station 鶴橋(Tsuruhashi) is nearby, and you can find elevator at the station so if you carry heavy luggage, it won't be an issue. If you want to go to Namba(難波) or Shinsaibashi(心齋橋), the most lively area in Osaka, only 3 to 4 stations away from Tsuruhashi. JR and Kintetsu(近鉄) station is also nearby. You can walk there and go outside like NARA(奈良) to see the deers and temples or KOBE(神戶) to taste the delicious steak. There is a convenient store (Family Mart) which is on the opposite side of the hotel, and a supermarket is also not far away. BTW, it provides free breakfast, main food is toast and onigiri.

My family had stayed here for there nights about mid May 2014. The hotel room is very clean but the room size is small as other branch of Toyoko Inn. The location is very convenient closed to both Subway station ( Tsuruhashi station - Sennichimae Line ) and JR Osaka Loop Line station ( Tsuruhashi station ) In this subway station there is elevator provided in case you have big luggages. From Kansai Airport you can take Nankai Airport Express and transfer at Namba to Sennichimae subway Line to Tsuruhashi Station. There is rice and ramen shops nearby even in the night time. And there is a Family Mart convenient stores across the road within 3 mins walking. There are coin washing and drying machines at ground floor. A liitle down side is breakfast has very limited of choices and staff can communicate very little English, but they try to service you and very helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel and sure I will stay here next time.
