A route inn located two minutes on foot from Tosu Station. It's a national chain, so it's safe to say it's your first time. Compared to Fukuoka city, it is much cheaper to stay. As it is a business hotel, you can't expect much, but if you decide to just sleep, you won't be dissatisfied. The good thing is that there are public baths with artificial hot springs. This is a high point.

This brand is always my first pick whenever I visit Japan. This inn in Tosu is no exception: in prime location 2 min's walk from Tosu JR train station, neat clean functional room with kettle, air purifyer, slipper, tv will Japanese channels only which is not a bad thing to me as I can soak in Japanese atmosphere all the time, a common onsen pool on the ground floor, great buffet breakfast with some difference each day, price good, staff courteous. Simply wonderful, nothing to complain about. It takes 25 mins to the hub Hakata by express train (but this is compensated by the much lower room rate as compared with that in Hakata). It worths, as it means the vicinity of this inn is quieter. There is a big mall with supermarket nearby.

This hotel offers a good value with good service. All room rate include breakfast and Japanese-style public spa bath "sento." A variety of breakfast was amazing me. In this mid-class hotel, Route Inn Tosu will be one of the best service hotels in Japan. Every time I come to Fukuoka and Hakata, I used to stay at hotel near JR Hakata Sta. This hotel is located a little far south from Hakata, with a 30-minute train ride. Even though you pay extra 540 yen for train fare from Hakata, it will be much valuable. It is located very close to JR Tosu Sta. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel. The mall has one coin store as well as supermarket and food court. The town is very safe. My stay was very satisfying me!
