We stayed in Tamatsukuri onsen after a day trip in Izumo area. Booked a room served with dinner and breakfast. It’s a rather old hotel but still clean and got its charm. The staff are politeness and helpful. Matcha and sweet were served while waiting for our room. The food are nice. Got Izumo sabo and famous lake clam in meal. Their onsen is fine. They’ve local traditional performance after dinner. Overall it’s a satisfied and good stay.

Nice hotel, nice food, nice onsen. Hotel is nicely furnished and clean, with a small Japanese garden in the middle. the staff are friendly and helpful. There is free parking. For female guests, they will provide free colour yukata that you can wear to go outside of the onsen ryokan. You can also dress up as miko for free (just for taking pictures in the hotel) The onsen bath is big and comfortable They also gave us coupon for free morning coffee.
